Program Details
School-Based Food Pantries provide pantry staples to children facing food insecurity outside of school. For many children, the only meals they can depend on are the ones provided at school. The goal of this program is to bridge the gap for children in need of food outside of school. This also includes basic need materials like shampoo, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, and more.
Our current School Based Food Pantries are in partnership with Naugatuck Public Schools at the following locations:
- Naugatuck High School
- Hop Brook Elementary School
- Naugatuck YMCA
- Early Childhood Center at Central Avenue
